provided with server set-up and loading initial codes, tariff groups and
rates.

Sipping is effected direct
from the manufacturing plant to the customer’s site by courier. Please
allow 45-60 days from order confirmation. The ALMAZ switch can be rack
or table mounted, which is usually undertaken by the purchaser. Remote
assistance is available.
Configuration
The
ALMAZ digital switches are
designed to be remotely configured over IP. Configuration time depends
on the use to which the switch is put. Configuration of SS7 requires the
involvement of the party with whom the purchaser is interconnecting
with. SS7 configuration time and, therefore costs, can vary depending on
the assistance provided by the interconnecting party. With good
assistance 2-3 days is a good budget. With poor assistance this can be
longer.

for remote and on-site configuration.
Training
Training can be provided at
our specialized training center on all aspects of the equipment
provided.
Configuration of SS7
however is a specialist activity and we recommend that any SS7
requirements after the initial implementation are dealt with on a
contracted basis by our specialists, rather than training internal staff
for such one off activities.

Considerable experience has
been obtained working with protocols in many countries and the ALMAZ
switch can be customized to most SS7 flavors. Please quote the SS7
flavor required in any enquiry.
Support and Warranty
The ALMAZ (Diamond) series
Access Platforms are designed to be very reliable and require little
maintenance and support. Hot line support is available.
The manufacturer guarantees
the quality and reliability of the operation of the equipment and
warrants its products (Hardware and Software) for a period of 18
(Eighteen) months from completion of final acceptance test or 18
(Eighteen) months after delivery, whichever comes first. Beyond this
period, all services will be provided to the Customer subject to a
service order signed by the parties at then quoted time & material
service rates.
In case of manufacturing defects detected during acceptance,
installation, setup
and use within the guarantee period, defective plug-in unit(s) will be replaced within TEN (10) calendar days from the date of
delivery of the defective parts to the manufacturer.
